June 2010 @ Munich, Germany

Intersolar brings people and markets together under the guiding principle, "Connecting Solar Business". And as trade visitors from over 145 countries have confirmed: no other event brings together so many decision makers from industry, trade and commerce with solar industry manufacturers, suppliers, institutes and associations. The world's leading solar trade fair therefore facilitates the targeted, personal exchange of valuable information relating to products, markets and services.

Intersolar 2010 is expected, once again, to post record figures. Compared with 2009, the number of exhibitors will rise from 1,414 to around 1,500 and the exhibition area from 104,000 sqm to 120,000 sqm. The number of visitors is expected to rise to above 60,000.

July 2010 @ Munich, North America

Intersolar North America stands out for its depth and diversity of content as well as its specific focus on photovoltaics and solar thermal technology. Dedicated to recruiting companies across the solar supply chain from around the world, Intersolar helps the industry improve global supply, distribution, training, regulation and business issues to accelerate market transformation and advance solar as a significant part of the global energy supply. Intersolar North America 2010 takes place from July 13-15 in San Francisco.

Intersolar North America 2009 featured 444 exhibitors across approximately 120,000 net sq. ft. and a combined 17,000 trade visitors for both events in San Francisco’s Moscone Center West this past July 14-16. The conference held at the InterContinental Hotel next door featured 25 tracks and more than 170 speakers.

October 2010@ Los Angeles, CA.

Solar Power International (SPI), previously called Solar Power Conference and Expo, was created in 2004 when the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) joined together in partnership to fill an obvious void: the US was missing a business-to-business solar conference and expo. With an industry growth rate of more than 40% per year, there was a need for a single event where industry could come together with potential customers, policymakers, investors, and other parties necessary for continued rapid growth.

First, Solar Power International has established itself as the only “must attend” solar event in the US. It is the largest solar conference and expo in the US, currently by a factor of more than 5, and attracts the widest range of professional attendees. The event also educates consumers through a one-night public opening of the expo hall.
